Robotic Kinetic Art Table
Drawing inspiration from traditional Zen gardens, the Sisyphus kinetic art table uses a metal ball to create unique and complex designs in sand under a glass top. The table is in a perpetual state of motion, continually creating and erasing patterns in the sand.
Sisyphus is both a kinetic art sculpture and a beautifully designed piece of furniture. It works by magnetically pulling a steel ball through sand using a robot arm. The metal ball rolls silently through the sand, forever creating and erasing beautiful patterns. It is kinetic art, technology, and design all merged in stunning meditative beauty.
We placed these tables in the lounge area of an event as a passive experience for our attendees. They not only entertained the guests with innovative technology, but also provided a unique and unexpected opportunity to highlight the EY brand.
